I am an avid gardener and runner.  Retired from the City of Houston, I manage several businesses; most of them in real estate.  I am a firm supporter of giving back to the community and believe that serving is a vital part of my mission as a small, locally owned business.   As a retiree, I can devote more time now to volunteering or assisting with donations. 

 

I have been a Master Naturalist, a Master Gardener and have volunteered at animal shelters, feeding the homeless, painting houses, planting trees, planting gardens and most recently at Special Cheers, an occupational therapy horse center for kids with autism.  Animals, especially horses, hold a special place in my heart.  I am very proud to say I served 15 years in the Air National Guard.

Starting this guest house has been hard work but worth it as this house is much loved.  The Galloping Seahorse is an evolving work of art for me and I sincerely hope all who stay here create wonderful experiences and memories.
